You've seen them at weddings and launches — glittering fountains of sparks behind the couple's first dance or a grand entrance. They look like fireworks, but they're something different and much safer: cold-spark machines, often called sparkulars.
How they work
Cold-spark machines heat a special granular powder to create a spark fountain that is cool to the touch almost immediately — there's no real flame and very little smoke. That's what makes them safe to use indoors, close to people, and without setting off most smoke alarms.

First dances, grand entrances, cake moments, product reveals and stage effects. A row of them across a stage creates a stunning wall of sparks that photographs beautifully.
Safe operation

Are cold sparks safe to use indoors?
Yes. Cold-spark machines produce a cool, near-smokeless spark that is safe indoors and close to people, unlike real pyrotechnics. Our crew always operates them with correct spacing and settings.
Will cold sparks set off smoke alarms?
