Sound & AV Equipment Hire in Mutare

Manicaland and the Eastern Highlands — conferences, weddings and church events in Mutare, Vumba and Nyanga.

Mutare is Zimbabwe’s gateway to Mozambique and the base for events across Manicaland — but a good share of the work here actually happens up in the hills. The Eastern Highlands resorts around Vumba and Nyanga have become genuine destination-wedding and executive-retreat country, and those venues come with their own demands: narrow mountain access roads, unpredictable weather, mist rolling in mid-ceremony, and power that cannot always be relied on. JMG Audio supplies sound, lighting, staging, screens and streaming for Mutare city and the surrounding highlands, and we plan the awkward parts in advance — vehicle access checked before the day, weather cover for outdoor rigs, and standby power so a highland outage does not end your programme.

Frequently asked questions

Do you cover wedding venues in Vumba and Nyanga?

Yes, regularly. Highland venues are some of the most rewarding to work in and some of the trickiest — access roads, mist and power all need planning. We check vehicle access with the venue before the day and bring standby power as standard on highland bookings.

What happens if it rains during an outdoor ceremony?

We plan for it. Eastern Highlands weather changes fast, so outdoor rigs go out with covers and protected positioning, and we agree a wet-weather fallback with you and the venue in advance rather than improvising on the day.

Can you supply interpretation equipment for cross-border conferences?

Yes. Mutare draws delegates from Mozambique, so Portuguese and English channels running simultaneously is a common requirement. We supply booths, transmitters and a headset for every delegate.

How far is Mutare from your base?

Mutare is roughly 260km east of Harare on a good main road, so it is a comfortable run. Venues further into the highlands add travel time, which we factor into the quote and the build schedule.
