Simultaneous Interpretation Equipment Hire

Simultaneous Interpretation Equipment Hire

Interpreter booths, transmitters and delegate headsets for multilingual conferences across Zimbabwe.

When your delegates do not all share one language, interpretation equipment is what keeps the room together. JMG Audio hires out complete simultaneous interpretation systems in Harare and nationwide — soundproof interpreter booths, transmitters, and a receiver and headset for every delegate — so a speaker presenting in English can be followed live in Shona, Ndebele, French, Portuguese or any other language your interpreters cover. We supply the hardware, set it up, test every channel before the first session and keep a technician in the room to manage channels and swap batteries throughout the programme.

Frequently asked questions

Do you supply interpreters as well as the equipment?

JMG Audio supplies and operates the interpretation equipment — booths, transmitters, receivers and headsets — and the technician who runs it. Professional interpreters are usually booked separately by the organiser, and we work alongside whoever you appoint. Tell us your languages and we can point you in the right direction.

How many languages can run at the same time?

Our systems handle multiple simultaneous language channels, so delegates simply select the channel they want on their receiver. Tell us how many languages and how many delegates you expect and we will size the system to match.

How much does interpretation equipment hire cost in Zimbabwe?

Cost depends on the number of delegate receivers, how many language channels you need, the number of booths and the length of the programme. Send JMG Audio your dates, venue and delegate numbers for a detailed quote.

Can you provide interpretation equipment outside Harare?

Yes. We regularly supply conference and interpretation equipment to Victoria Falls, Bulawayo and other conference destinations across Zimbabwe. Travel and accommodation for the crew are quoted with the job.

Do delegates get their own headset?

Yes. Every delegate receives a personal receiver and headset. We issue them at registration, track them through the event and collect them at the end of each day.
