Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of jmgaudio.co.zw and how enquiries and quotes work. The terms of an actual equipment hire are set out in the written quote and hire agreement for that specific job.

About these terms

This website is operated by JMG Audio of 3 Dale Road, Marlborough, Harare, Zimbabwe. By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

Read them alongside our privacy policy, which explains how we handle personal information.

The important one: this site does not make a booking

Nothing on this website is a binding offer, and submitting the contact form does not reserve equipment or secure a date. Prices, packages and availability shown or described here are indicative.

A hire is confirmed only when we have given you a written quote for your specific job and you have accepted it, and we have confirmed the booking back to you. Until that happens the equipment and the date remain available to other clients — which matters a great deal during the December wedding season and the hot-season peak for air coolers.

Quotes

Quotes are prepared for the event you describe to us — the venue, the date, the guest numbers and the equipment needed. If any of those change, the quote may change with them, and we will tell you before anything is charged.

Quotes are valid for the period stated on them. Where a quote includes travel to an out-of-town venue, that component is itemised separately so you can see it.

The terms of the hire itself

The commercial terms of an equipment hire — the price, what deposit is required, payment timing, cancellation and postponement, delivery and collection times, and your responsibility for equipment while it is in your care — are set out in the written quote and hire agreement for that job.

We do this deliberately rather than publishing one set of figures here, because a single unit for an evening in Harare and a full rig travelling to Victoria Falls for a week are genuinely different arrangements. Ask us for the written terms at quoting stage and you will have them before you commit to anything.

In general terms, equipment remains the property of JMG Audio throughout a hire, and the hirer is responsible for it from delivery until we collect it. The specifics are in your agreement.

Using this website

Please use the site only for lawful purposes. Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, interfere with its operation, or use automated means to scrape it at a volume that degrades service for others.

Do not submit anything through the contact form that is unlawful, abusive, or that you do not have the right to send us.

Our content

The text, photographs, video and design on this site belong to JMG Audio unless stated otherwise. The photographs and video of our equipment and of events we have worked on are our own.

You are welcome to read, print and share pages, and to link to the site. Please do not republish our content as your own, or use our photographs to advertise another business.

Accuracy, guides and advice

We put real effort into keeping the site accurate, and the guides are written from actual experience of running events in Zimbabwe. They are general guidance, though, not advice for your specific event.

Equipment specifications, coverage and how many units a venue needs all depend on the particular room, crowd and conditions. Where it matters, ask us and we will advise on your actual venue rather than relying on a general figure from a guide.

We may change the content, the equipment listed, or availability at any time without notice.

Other websites and our shop

Our shop displays products from our partner store, Huyako. Those products are sold by the partner on their own terms, and any purchase is a matter between you and them.

Where we link to other websites, we do so because we think they are useful. We do not control them and we are not responsible for their content or their handling of your information.

Liability

We provide this website as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of the site or from reliance on general information published on it.

Nothing here limits our liability for anything that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing here affects our obligations under a hire agreement we have actually entered into with you. Those obligations are real and we stand behind them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe, and the courts of Zimbabwe have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

Contact

Questions about these terms, or about a quote or booking, can go to jmgaudio7@gmail.com or (+263) 773 387 066. We would always rather talk something through than have it become a dispute.
